There sure as heck is voter fraud – and it’s coming from Democrats.
In Indiana, 11 temporary canvassers, and their supervisor, Holiday Burke, all of whom were working for the Indiana Voter Registration Project, were arrested for submitting fraudulent voter registration applications before the 2016 election, according to the Associated Press.
Patriot Majority USA, which manages the group, has links to the Democrat Party, including former President Bill Clinton and former Sen. Harry Reid, as AP reported.
Last August, Hendricks County flagged roughly one dozen registrations as suspicious, prompting an investigation which expanded from Hendricks County to over 56 counties across the state.
The Chicago Tribune reported:
After state police raided the Indiana Voter Registration Project’s Indianapolis office, Craig Varoga, director of Patriot Majority USA, the progressive super PAC that funded the effort, accused then-Gov. Mike Pence of allowing voter suppression in his state. The group launched a radio ad campaign saying that GOP state officials were targeting African Americans voters.
Biz Pac Review notes:
A search warrant unsealed on Nov. 14 says some workers admitted to falsifying registrations, saying they faced the possibility of losing their temporary job if they didn’t register at least 10 new voters a day. The probable cause affidavit says supervisors told canvassers “to obtain their quota by any means necessary.”
Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said, “By giving someone a financial motive to (meet a quota) is what caused these canvassers to cut corners and do things that not only undermined the goal of having legitimate registered voters but led to a situation where we allege it bled over into criminal conduct.”
