Rubio Speaks On Missing Journalist

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) believes the nations “moral credibility” was in danger for it’s response to the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi.

Rubio stated, “Our moral credibility, our ability to call Putin a murder because he is, our ability to call Assad a murder because he is, our ability to confront Maduro in Venezuela or any of these other human rights atrocities like we see in China, all of that is undermined and compromised if we somehow decide because an ally who is important did that we’re not going to call it out.”

“I will just say this to you with full confidence; if this is proven to be true there’s going to be a response from Congress, it’s going to be nearly unanimous, and it’s going to be swift, and it’s going to go pretty far. That could include arms sales but could include other things as well.”
