Donald Trump’s foreign policy in regard to Mexico could be described as a little blunt. Trump understands the detriment of our loosely enforced border with Mexico, and he aims to fix it post haste. That’s the driving force behind his idea to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. His logic is that Mexico is costing America billions of dollars in public services handed out to illegals, jobs taken from American citizens, and countless other migrant related expenses, so why shouldn’t they pay?
Mexico’s president doesn’t see the situation quite the same way though. He thinks that his people should be catered to and allowed to come and go as they please. That’s why he decided to give Trump this obscene response during an interview with the Huffington Post.
He gave Trump more than a few choice words and then posed with a HuffPo correspondent for what can only be described as a gesture in very poor taste.
Here’s more from the Conservative Tribune:
For a few months now, the former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, and presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump have been engaged in a war of words over Trump’s proposed border wall.
Fox has routinely sworn at Trump, promising to not pay “for that f***ing wall,” among other delightful remarks. The Huffington Post reported that now Fox is at it again, swearing up a storm over Trump and making rude hand gestures.
Fox’s latest interview was one of his most profane to date. The full interview was scheduled to be released on Tuesday, and was recorded a day before Fox went on Fox News to apologize to Trump for his remarks.
I guess that apology wasn’t very sincere.
In the promotion for the interview, “Kickass politics” tweeted a photo of Fox and political media strategist Ben Mathis giving the middle finger, presumably to Trump, and promised more to come.
“He is the ugly American,” Fox said in the interview. “He is the hated gringo because he’s attacking all of us. He’s offending all of us.”
Apparently trying to enforce the law is now enough to offend all of Mexico. Well, America is offended that Mexico can’t seem to have a government that isn’t soaked in corruption and drugs.
“I’m not going to pay for that f***ing wall,” Fox again stated in the podcast. “And please don’t take out the ‘f***ing’ full word.”
This man has some serious issues.
It’s all fun and games now, but what do you think will happen if Trump wins in November. We’re guessing Mexico’s president will start to regret stunts like this as Trump starts moving forward with his plans in office.
