BREAKING: Comey REJECTS new offer

Following his termination on behalf of Donald Trump, James Comey was invited to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

The meeting at which he was investigated to testify will be a closed session, meaning that the public will not be able to attend. According to The Hill, “Comey is likely to face questions from the committee about both the Russia probe and the timing of his unexpected removal from the office.” As you’re been made aware from the tin-foil ha- wearing left, they believe Trump fired Comey because he was being investigated by Comey for his ties to Russia (while Trump himself claims that Comey told him on three separate occasions that he was not under investigation.

Comey has previously refused to comment on whether or not Trump was included in the FBI investigation into his associates’ alleged ties to Russia. And we won’t find out at the Senate Intelligence Committee meeting either, because Comey is rejecting the offer to testify.

According to the Washington Examiner, Former FBI director James Comey has rejected an invitation to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee next week.

Comey, who was fired on Tuesday by President Trump, was invited for a closed session before the panel by Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va.

Warner said on MSNBC Friday afternoon that Comey would not appear before the committee on Tuesday. The office of Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., confirmed to the Washington Examiner that Comey would not meet with the committee behind closed doors next week.
