NFL Players Kneel on Veterans Day

On a day dedicated to the men and women who lay their lives down for the freedom of their people, you would think that people could come together and show some respect. But within the silly sport, football, players are still choosing to show major disrespect.

3 players, Eric Reid and Marquise Goodwin from the 49ers and Olivier Vernon from the Giants chose to take a knee and basically tell the countless families that lost loved ones overseas that they don’t care about their lives.

Reid said, “This is not about the military. This is not about the flag. This is not about the anthem … I have the upmost respect for the military, the anthem and the flag.”

But actions speak louder than words.
